Rubber Gaskets

Rubber gaskets are custom molded components designed to provide reliable sealing between surfaces while also offering vibration damping, thermal and acoustic insulation, cushioning, and environmental protection. They prevent leaks of liquids, gases, and dust, and help protect equipment from wear, shock, and vibration in various operating conditions.

Depending on material and application requirements, gaskets can be molded using compression, transfer, or injection molding processes. OKIN’s Rubber produces gaskets from high-performance materials such as EPDM, NBR, Silicone, and Viton, ensuring durability, elasticity, and consistent performance under diverse temperatures, chemical exposure, and outdoor environments.

Whether you require complex-shaped gaskets or high-volume production, our solutions deliver durable, flexible, and effective sealing, with additional benefits such as vibration reduction, impact cushioning, and environmental protection.

Our gaskets are widely used in key industries, including:

  • Automotive components (doors, windows, engines, fuel systems, lights)
  • Hydraulic systems & valves/pumps
  • Industrial & mechanical equipment
  • HVAC systems
  • Electric enclosures & electronics/telecom devices
  • Marine & outdoor equipment
Available in a wide range of shapes, sizes, and hardness levels, OKIN Rubber gaskets provide long-lasting, reliable sealing and multifunctional protection across diverse industrial, commercial, and specialized applications.

Manufacturing Process of Molded Rubber Gaskets

Gasket is mainly done by cutting under formation (sheet cutting) or compression. Cutting under the format is cost-effective for simple, flat geometry. Casting is used for complex 3D shapes or applications requiring strict tolerances. All gaskets manufactured shall be checked for accuracy of dimensions, durometer and compression set resistance.

Importance of Rubber Gasket

Quality gaskets are crucial for maintaining system pressure, preventing fluid pollution and protecting sensitive equipment from environmental impact. Under conditions of high temperature, high pressure or corrosion, choosing the right elastomer prevents the failure of the gasket by avoiding costly downtime and safety hazards.

Features of Molded Rubber Gasket

  • Excellent fluid and environmental gasket
  • High resistance to compression and deformation
  • Withstand various chemicals, oils and extreme temperatures
  • Custom durometers, colors and shapes available
  • Ideal for static gasket flanges, hulls and LIDS

Types of Molded Rubber Gaskets

Epdm Rubber Gaskets Epdm rubber gaskets provide excellent weather, ozone and water resistance. They are the most common type of gasket for outdoor applications, hvac systems and water purification equipment.
Silicone Gaskets Silicone gaskets provide excellent thermal stability and flexibility at low temperatures. They are often used in food processing, medical devices and electronics casings because of their clean and odorless properties.
Viton Gaskets (FKM) Viton gaskets (FKM) are specially designed for resisting fuel, lubricants and highly aggressive chemicals. They are a premium choice for high-performance gaskets in aerospace, oil and gas and chemical plants.
